IRIB Varzesh is a national Iranian sports channel launched in 2012. It's known for being among the pioneers of digital and high-definition broadcasting in Iran, being the fifth and second channel respectively to adopt these technologies. Owned by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), IRIB Varzesh is often referred to as "The Voice of Iranian Sports".
