BronxNet provides hands-on television production training, equipment access, and channels for Bronx residents.

Award-winning BronxNet programs keep BronxNet in touch with the people, issues, neighborhoods, and activities that make the borough what it is today.

High school and college students can prepare for media careers behind and in front of the camera through BronxNet’s Training Program for Future Media Professionals.

BronxNet programs are broadcast on channels 67, 68, 69, 70, 951, and 952 on Optimum and on 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, and 38 on Verizon Fios in the Bronx.

The vision for BronxNet came from dedicated Bronx officials, who worked with residents to create a fully-equipped television station and media center that would be accessible to Bronx residents, students, community organizations, and leaders. BronxNet went on air in July 1993. BronxNet has been headquartered at Lehman College since its inception. Another fully equipped state-of-the-art facility was launched at Mercy College in the Hutchinson Metro Center in 2015. A third site is scheduled to open in the South Bronx in 2019.

BronxNet is an independent, not-for-profit organization, established under the Cable Television Franchise Agreement between the City of New York and Cablevision of New York City.

BronxNet programs four channels - 67, 68, 69, and 70 - on the Cablevision system and six channels - 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, and 38 on the Verizon Fios system in the Bronx. Our programming is available to over 340,000 Bronx households.

BRONXNET is the private, not-for-profit community television station serving the borough of the Bronx. The Station was established in 1988, under an agreement between the City of New York and Cablevision of New York City.

BRONXNET programs four channels-67, 68, 69, and 70-on the Cablevision system in the Bronx. Each channel presents a unique brand of programming: Channel 67 focuses on public affairs programs produced by the station. 67's programs keep viewers up-to-date on local issues and face-to-face with the borough's representatives.

Channel 68 features arts and entertainment programs including many that spotlight local artists. Channel 69 includes a host of foreign language programs of special interest to the various nationalities that make up the borough.

Channel 70 is largely dedicated to informational programs produced by local organizations as well as inspirational programs produced by local churches.
